  • Day 2: Spend the morning exploring Longyearbyen, with its unique architecture, museums, and local culture. A guided visit to the Svalbard Museum offers insight into Arctic biodiversity and the Russian influence on the region. In the evening, board your expedition ship and set sail for Barentsburg, a historic Russian mining village where you'll enjoy a traditional Russian pub experience.
  • Day 3: Sail into the spectacular Magdalenefjord, a remote area of towering snow-capped peaks and icy waters. Disconnect completely as you enter a digital dead zone and, weather permitting, go ashore to explore a 17th-century whaling station, cemetery, and whalers' memorial.
  • Day 4: Take a morning tundra hike through Woodfjorden and Liefdefjorden, keeping an eye out for Arctic foxes, elk, and seabirds. If conditions allow, sail further north to Moffen and 80° North, just 600 nautical miles from the North Pole, where the sun never sets.
  • Day 5: Silent sailing through Kongsfjorden, where you'll witness the sheer scale of Kongsvegen and Kongsbreen, two massive glaciers carving through the fjord. Enjoy tundra trekking before visiting Ny-Ålesund, the world’s northernmost permanent settlement at 78º 55’ N.
  • Day 6: Arrive back in Longyearbyen, disembark, and either continue your journey in Norway or return home to share your Arctic adventure.
